As a cold shower an hour before the start of the fifth round of matches between Italy and Serbia in Eurobasket, we got information that the Serbian basketball players, coaching staff and journalists from Serbia had to leave the Mercedes Benz hall.

The reason: TECHNICAL problems or a fire alarm that was activated is the reason why everyone was evacuated.

The drama lasted about ten minutes, and according to our correspondent, everyone was evacuated from the hall, including the cooks and security guards.

As we've exclusively come to know from the management team of our team Neša Ilic, there was a small fire in the kitchen of the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

- The kitchen in the VIP lounge was on fire. The fire was small, but the Germans had to evacuate us all because of protocal - explained Ilic for Telegraf.

When it was established that no danger exists, people began returning to the expensive hall and the warm-up for the players began.
