Industrial production in July up by 13 %

The industrial production in Serbia in July 2015, when compared to July 2014, increased by 13 percent and in relation to 2014 average, it increased by 9.6 percent, reads a statement issued by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia on Monday

Industrial production in the period January- July 2015 increased by 6.1 percent relative to the same period 2014.

Observed by sections, in July 2015 compared to the same month 2014, the growth was noted in the section of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (50.3%), mining and quarrying (39.6%) and manufacturing (3.8%).

The data on industrial production by destination in July 2015, compared to June 2014, expressed growth in the production of energy (36.7%), non-durable consumer goods (10.5%), and intermediate products, energy excluded (3.9%). On the other hand, fall was recorded in the production of capital goods (6.1%) and durable consumer goods (6.8%).

The industrial production volume in July 2015, compared to June 2014, expressed growth in 17 divisions that in the structure of industrial production participate with 72 percent and fall in 12 divisions that in the structure of industrial production participate with 28 percent.
