Irishman Mark Keting plans to return to Serbia on foot, but via Kajmakcalan, the path of the recovered Serbian Army, with the help of allies, in the unstoppable assault that broke the Salonika front.
In this unusual way, the Irishman will be accompanied only by his faithful dog Paja!

- It was love at first sight - Vesna is honest.
The following year, she became Mrs. Keting, but that does not end this strange story of the two lovers who were brought together by the war and the suffering of the Serbian people. One of those who were lucky enough to survive the Albanian Golgotha was Vesna's grandfather Dobrosav Petrovic from Radlje.
He managed to get to Corfu, but there he got typhoid, and was left for dead. He was saved by mere chance by a friend that coincidentally recognized him and pulled him out from the crowd of corpses that they intended to throw into the sea.
He later made a full recovery and his unit went to Marseille to fight on the Western Front, but in 1917 he returned to Greece again. Here the story gets a twist that even the most skilled storytellers could not think up.
Among the Thessaloniki Lancers were members belonging to one of the Irish people, which was led by Mark's grandfather Lieutenant Thomas Frederick Von. With joint forces, they broke through the Salonika Front and later acquitted Serbia in 1918.
- Perhaps they met, devil would know it. Anyway, I was inspired by their perseverance and incredible lust for life, similar to that of children who are struggling against terrible diseases. Therefore, I will, for their lives walk the same way that for mine and my wife's life walked my great-grandfather and her grandfather - said Mark.
