The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine reported that substantial violation of truce occurred in the areas to the east and the north of Mariupol on Monday.

The situation in areas in and around Starohnativka also constitutes reason for concern and the OSCE observers were once more targeted by attacks in eastern Ukraine on Monday afternoon.

Safety and freedom of movement constitute the key for the mission to fulfil its mandate, Dacic said and added that he fiercely condemns every incident or action that is hindering the work of the mission.

The inviolability of the mission's property should be completely secured, Dacic underscored.

The OSCE chair also condemned the incident which occurred on Saturday when four mission vehicles were set on fire in Donetsk.
