The members of the sailing club "Palic" who were along the lake shore at the time, attempted to save boats and other vessels that were anchored to the local marina.

- The strong wind moved ships that were parked on the shore, we sat on them so that the wind could not pick them up, surf boards were flying along the boardwalk, small boats were picked up by the wind and tossed into the water - said one of the members of the club.
