Vucic confers with new ambassador of Ukraine

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic conferred on Wednesday with newly-appointed ambassador of Ukraine in Belgrade Oleksandr Aleksandrovych and the meeting produced mutual expressions of commitment to respect of territorial integrity of Serbia and Ukraine

Recalling the two nations' traditional ties, Prime Minister Vucic welcomed Aleksandrovych to Serbia and expressed the hope that his diplomatic mandate would result in strengthening of cooperation and improvement of political and economic ties between the two countries.

Aleksandrovych expressed gratitude for the manner Serbia is chairing OSCE and its role in the implementation of the agreement from Minsk, the Serbian government Office for cooperation with the media released.

The new ambassador of Ukraine underscored that Ukraine highly appreciates the fact that Prime Minister Vucic is conducting a policy of reconciliation and cooperation in the region.

The talks also covered the sectors which offer room for strengthening of economic cooperation between Serbia and Ukraine, especially in the agricultural production domain.
