Nikolic confers with Huawei delegation

Serbia has created a favorable business environment and can offer a lot to investors from the entire world, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said at a meeting with a delegation of Chinese company Huawei

Nikolic stated on Monday that Chinese companies already participate in major infrastructural projects in Serbia, which he said should remain the case, but added that it would be useful to both sides if they decided to invest into Serbian production as well.

It could be of interest to Huawei to consider opening its IT center in Serbia, which has possibilities and outstanding work force for that, educated in the country and abroad, Nikolic said.

VP of Huawei Wang Cheng Dong said this is an option Huawei is already considering.

China sees great economic cooperation potential in Serbia

He informed Nikolic on potentials of Huawei technologies and expressed great interest in long-term business of the company in Serbia.

Wang also said that his wish is that Huawei contributes to development of local economy through partnership relation with Serbia, Nikolic's press service issued in a statement.
