After them remain the cries of their parents and peers who watched them as they drowned...
GREAT TRAGEDY: Stefan Ilic (12) was found dead in a canal!
But, perhaps the strongest cries are for the boy hero, 13-year-old Laszlo Milenkovic, who, not knowing how to swim did not spare his life to save his friend!
Laszlov's short life is interwoven with sad events ... He was living in a foster home with his sister Lorena. His father and mother left him when they divorced.
Each went their own way, and he was adopted by the Saran family, since they could not have their own children.
According to his stepfather Jovan Saran, no one could catch up to him, and despite his problems, he was a happy child.
- He was a hyperactive child, he loved to spend time near the Tisza. Although he was constantly forbidden to bathe in it, because he did not know how to swim, he did not listen - said Jovan.
And then came the worst ...
These kids did not show any sign of cowardice at any moment.
They jumped in one after the other, to save each other, and they all lost their lives when a quagmire pulled them to the bottom.
It is as if some power pushed little Kristijana to her death...
Witnesses said the first time she began to drown, little Lacika managed to pull her by the hair and pulled from the water. And as if that were not enough, she began drowning a second time.
Lacika first rushed into the water, and Daniel came after him...
The water took away all three!
Peers from the shore helplessly watched as their friends drowned.
When the rescue team arrived, it was already too late. Their bodies were found by divers of the Gendarmerie.
Kristijana was pulled out first followed by the bodies of the two boys.
In addition to Lacika, Danijel Ivanov is from a foster family. His father was at wage when he was informed that his boy drowned. Kristijana's mother can not talk from the pain and does not know how she will live without her.
Given that every year we bear witness to this river taking the lives of many, we hope that this horrific story from the small village of Djale serves as a reminder to all youth in Serbia not swim in unmarked areas, because such child's play may cost lives.
