Vucic: We have hundreds of kilometers of roads to build

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said in Tirana on Wednesday that he is proud of being the first Serbian prime minister to pay an official visit to Tirana, and noted that there are many fields in which the two countries should cooperate, but also that they do not agree on the issue of Kosovo-Metohija (KiM)

We have not talked only about diplomacy. We have talked about the development of tourism and how to motivate Serbian citizens to come to Tirana and vice versa. We are on the right track, we have to work on that. The fact is that we do not agree on the issue of KiM, Vucic said, underscoring that he came to Tirana on behalf of Serbian citizens.

The prime minister said that economic development and cooperation are very important for both Serbia and Albania, so it is of immense importance that the two countries work together on that.

At a joint press conference with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Vucic underlined the importance of implementing infrastructure projects.

He said that such projects will benefit Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo, but it is also in the interest of improving relations between Belgrade and Tirana. “Serbia is ready for such cooperation,” Vucic said.
