This year was no exception, as evidenced by photos that emerged today from the Zvezdara Forest.
Garbage is scattered at every step of the Zvezdara forest, and many citizens just left their trash next to overflowing trash cans, rather than taking it with them.
On the photographs you can see that on the place where the fire burned for a barbecue, it is not cleared, and there is plenty of ash everywhere.
Although the penalty for starting an open fire in a forest is between 10,000 to 50,000 dinars (between 85 euros and 450 euros), many citizens do not heed nor care what's left behind after their May 1st daybreak.
