Horror in Sabac: A child ate a sardine with a cockroach in it!
Boban Damnjanović from Velika Drenova near Trstenik has a boar for a pet who is 200 kilograms. His boar Gile has been next to him for the past ten years, and the two of them are often seen walking around the village and that made them famos in this part of Serbia.
When arrived in Velika Drenova, Gile had a few kilograms. Boban got it when he gave a hunting dog to his friends and they gave him a small wild pig.
– It was a present ten years ago from Stara Planina. I got GIle as a sign of respect, and I gave them a hunting dog. GIle has offspring today and it is interesting that they have never hurt me and they like being around children, who come visit them- says Damnjanović.
Gile was so sweet and that saved him from being roasted for Christmas, and Gile is today a giant with more than 200 kilograms.
While Gile lives in a village in his owner’s household, his descendants are in “gatar” as people say for a pygsty in this part of Serbia and Boban visits them every day.
– It happened that someone deliberately opens the gate, and Gile and the sow go out. However, they returned to pygsty fast, because they are very domesticated and this fenced area is considered to be their home. This kid was gone for two days and he came back – says Boban Damnjanović.
He says that he is often in the hunt with his friends, but he has never turned a gun toward the animal.
He loves nature, dogs, and he respects wild animals as well as other living beings, and killing in the hunt is not an option.
– I go hunting, my dogs search for the game, I carry a gun with me, but I have never killed an animal. I have never done this because I respect animals – explains thisunusual man.
