After learning that Predrag escaped death, family Kascelan was shocked with the whole experience and bedazzled by the tragedy that befall the people who lost their lives in the plane crush.

- Even now it's difficult to talk about this subject let alone the moment we found out what was happening. The first thing we heard was that there had been a plane crush so we immediately tried calling Pedja, but his cell was off.

He had probably boarded another plane by the time but there was no way for us to know that. That was such a hard time for us, all up until the moment he contacted us saying everything was okay – said this footballer's mother, Radojka Kašćelan.

Upon returning from Catalonia, both players and coaching staff of Dalkurd at the airport have changed flights since waiting was supposed to take longer for the Düsseldorf – Sweden relation. They had decided to split in three groups and board the flight to Zurich and Munich. That decision saved their lives, given that the plane crash Airbus A320 took lives 150 passengers.
