VOJVODE VLAHOVICA SUBURB IS FLOODED
The most critical situation is in the suburb of Vojvode Vlahovica. 15-20 minutes of stronger rain is enough and the citizens of this Belgrade suburb are completely flooded and cut from the rest of the world.
Of course, the situation is getting increasingly difficult because the water is piling up, the sewage can't hold water and it draining out. Besides the fact that the suburb is cut off from the world, the incredible stench is spreading. The photos of cars floating in the streets are common during the rainy days. And it was no different today.
The main road in this suburb is becoming impassable due to the large pond that is created when the rain falls. The cars get stuck and the public transport can't go through there.
CARS ARE SWIMMING ON DORCOL
Parts of Dorcol, and the complete area from the Republic square, over the French street, to the Danube riverside, is completely flooded!
Cars almost can't move on the streets, the water is running over the roads and it threatens to enter certain homes and buildings that are in this area.
The drains of "Belgrade Waterworks" are currently not able to receive this amount of water.
The situation is not better in the neighborhood, in the Despot Stefan boulevard, which is literally under water.
