They all told Nenad (23) that he was crazy, and that his muscles will tear apart, but he is starting a journey of a lifetime - on a bicycle (PHOTO)
You get infected with adventure, and there is no cure, and the example for this is Nenad Vujaklija (23). This man from Belgrade is "infected" with cycling who is spreading over his plans, and he will move the limits of his endurance from June 18th.
- I was supposed to take my driving test, however, my father got seriously sick, he got bone cancer. We gave that money for treatment. He passed away, and I didn't go to pay for it later on, I abandoned it - Nenad starts his story.
A hobby emerged from the sad reason which is fulfilling and it is different from other tourist engagements.
- A friend, later on, offered to sell me his bike for a low price. And I said alright, I didn't drive it for a long time. And when I bought it, he invited me to a Facebook group, where people publish their routes, and I soon joined them. The rides started. I've met some great people who were happy to help me although I was a complete stranger. For example, I got sick on the way to Dubrovnik, and no one from the team had anything sweet on them. There was a long ride to the first store, and a kind family brought an entire feast and offered us to stay. They fill up your heart with kindness - he continues.
He will go on his greatest quest with Dalibor Stankovic from Leskovac, whom he met in one of the cycling groups on social networks. He will go on a route to Subotica, Budapest, Viena, Brno, Prague, Leipzig, Kasel, Dortmund, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels, Paris, Lion, Marseille, Toulon, Cannes, Livorno, Genova, Venice, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Banja Luka, Bijeljina, Sabac. Others thought that this plan was too ambitious.
- People who don't even know me told me that I was crazy and that my muscles will tear apart. It feels bad that they judge me and they don't even know me. I believe that if you want something you can do it. My girlfriend supports me, and although my mother worries, she supports me as well - Nenad is certain.
When he returns from his adventure, he will sit by the wheel for sure, but he won't give up from his bicycle.
- I work at a gas station, where I learned how to drive, and I will definitely have to pass my driving test - Nenad concludes.
