More than 2.000 Hells Angels are arriving at Jagodina! People are afraid, the authorities are calming them down: "That is a gathering of family people"

Jagodina will be the host of one of the largest moto gatherings in the history of Serbia, from May 29th to Jun 5th. More than 2.000 bikers of the club "Hells Angels" from all around the world will occupy this city for several days and the locals aren't happy about that.

The gathering will be held at Aqua Park location, Jas hall, carting track and Car-Moto Association of Serbia which will be enclosed by 1.800 meters of fence. It will be stell wire and transparent plastics and the citizens will be able to see and hear the concert, from a distance. Serbian police held an emergency meeting regarding the biker's gathering in Jagodina and security.

- It is a gathering of "Hells Angels" members. The arrival of around 1.000 motorbikes and around 2.000 people is expected. As we are said, that is practically a "family gathering", people will bring their wives and children, and they call each other brothers and sister while communication. The bikers come from Europe, United States, and Canada, while there are around 50 members of this association in Serbia - the head of the Jagodina sports center Zoran Gligorijevic said.

They are organizing a gathering in a different state each year, and Jagodina has accepted the offer because that is a kind of "advertisement", 2.000 people from all around the world in one city.

- They have rented Aquapark, Jas hall which has the capacity of 3.500 seats, summer cafe, Hill hotel, carting track, part of the auxiliary stadium and part of Car-Moto Association Of Serbia for campers. Many will camp because there were not enough accommodation capacities in Jagodina and the vicinity - Gligorijevic explains.

The main gathering will be held from May 31st to June 3rd, and the days before and after are intended for preparations and organization of the event.

- They will bathe and eat in Aquapark, the concerts of all rock bends will be from 17 to 23 PM, and they will continue in the hall after 23 PM so they don't disturb public peace and order. The concerts are exclusively for the members of Hells Angels. No one from the outside can come in. Drive through the city was not organized, it is their pleasure to come to Serbia and Jagodina on their bikes. They wish to have a good time, to enjoy the concerts, to show off their props in the hall, their tattoos - Gligorijevic mentions.

The organizers are appealing the citizens to remain calm, those are family people, they won't cause any problems.

- Our arrival is not something that the Serbian people are used to, like some open type of event. No, we are making a private gathering for our members. We have rented the aquapark and that is a beautiful are where our bands will be able to play. All the concerts are closed type and people who are not members are not allowed to enter.

The citizens can look at our gathering as a big private wedding with 2.000 people, taking in consideration that a wedding will be performed on Saturday by our friends from Russia who are cominning. They will be married at the central stage. That will be a happy and peaceful event - Vladimir Petkovic said from the "Hells Angels Serbia".

The machines we drive are our loves. We don't abuse those machines, we don't drive around recklessly around the city, we don't block the traffic. Of course, those are free men and they will sit on their bikes and they will visit the restaurants in Jagodina to have lunch, drinks - Petkovic said.

Also, the graduation proms of elementary schools were postponed for June 11th, and the principal of the school "17th October", Biljana Milanovic, explained this decision.

- All of us, the principles of schools in agreement with the graduates came to the decision to postpone the prom nights that are being held that weekend when the bikers are here, and why is that? Because the most important part of the prom for the graduates is going to Potok, which is the central event, and taking in consideration that the bikers will have their concerts in Aquapark, the loud music will disturb the music of the graduates. That is the only reason - Milanovic said.
