Serbian genius child: He made 15.000 euros on Bitcoins, and now he is asking advice what to do with the money

  • 0

A Serb published an unusual post on social network Reddit with a strange appeal. This underage Serb said that he made 15.000 euros and now he is not sure where he should invest them, so he is asking for advice. He didn't get the money by selling drugs, and he is not "Daddy's boy". Read his bittersweet problems, but pay attention the way this "child" thinks.

This is his entire post:

"No, I don't sell drugs, I don't steal, I didn't take my father's money. I was reselling gift cards on the internet and I invested in bitcoin. I sold all the bitcoin and calculated how much I have, almost 15k€. I don't want to waste all the money right now, I want to do something with them. We are a family of five, only two bring some money into the house (or three if you count me lol). I recently passed my driving test and I want to buy a car, but I don't want to spend more than 5 grand. Do you have any good proposition where I should invest them? To put it in a bank? To buy something?

P.S. I will delete this post after few days because I don't want it around for very much...

EDIT: I would like to thank the moderators for approving this post because I made a throwaway. I didn't expect them to help me that quickly.

I expected all kinds of things, I am glad that there are still normal people online :)

I want to mention, I already sold all the bitcoin, all the money I have is cashI don't need anything over the top and I don't know what I should do and I am worried. I was thinking about buying machines that are mining cryptocurrency, but there are problems. I don't have space in the house, and they are too loud. They need a lot of power and if I paid for them in Serbia they would be twice the expensive, plus, I would wait 2x. Also, I could rent the apartment, studio, garage, where I could keep them...

About the car, they are not necessary, I'll be honest. But, I am literally sick of public transport. I told myself when I get my license, I will no longer get into a bus. I am probably exaggerating when I say that I want to buy a 5k Golf, but I don't really want to buy a Yugo to be honest.

Some of you are mentioning the bank, while some are against it. Is it good to make a compromise and to put a part of the money in the bank as savings?

EDIT 2: Some of you asked me why I sold bitcoins, because I don't know what to do with them. I sold them when one was 5900-6000 dollars because I had a feeling that it will drop, and it did. If dropped to 5.500 dollars. I believe it will drop a bit more and it will be a struggle to return to $6.000. That is simply my prediction, which was not wrong so far.

EDIT 3: I had around 5.000 euros before this and I bought a computer, a phone, clothes, shoes, camera, foot etc. So I don't need money for that kind of stuff (for now)".

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that is decentralized, no state governs it in the world. It is made by a special process where hundreds of computers are "mining" bitcoins, and it takes months to create one.
