We got up in he middle of the night for you, we don't care about you anymore: Brutal comments on Jokic's decision not to play for Serbia

Serbia was hurt with Nikola Jokic decision not to play on Eurobasket, and it resounded like nothing before.

JOKIC SAID NO TO SERBIA: He talked with Djordjevic and he finally discovered that he won't be playing on Eurobasket!

There was no sleep in the previous period because of NBA matches, and the entire Serbia was awake for Denver games and after Jokic records, there were dreams about his raw domination on Eurobasket.

Everybody already imagined crazy actions with Teodosic and the crew, in the quest for the shiniest medal after the world and Olympic silver.

Many had difficult time because of this because Jokic played his last match on far 13th of April, and he rested for two and a half months and had enough time to use it to fulfill the demands of the club before the great multi-year contract signing.

Practically, Milos Teodosic and Bogdan Bogdanovic had much more intense season who played games to the end of June, in Turkish league, as well as Nemanja Nedovic, who ignored suggestions of Unikaja to pause.

It would be certainly more harmless if Jokic cut the ties right after the NBA season has ended and said that he won't play, but that didn't happen. Small hope was left to burn in the hearts of the fans, who commented on our portal with exasperation about his decision.

- Thank you buddy, God bless you, i wish all the best for you but: I am no longer interested in you as a basketball player, nor how nor where you are going to play, when there is news about you i won't read it because you don't deserve it! 

- All who refused to wear national colors, should be removed out of the national team forever... Even if the price for that is never to participate on the great competitions.

- Shame!! The one who loves his country will play for it with all of his heart, no one in the world can't stop him, not even your club in the NBA. Nikola Jokic, great basketball player, has disappointing entire Serbian nation.

- Praja Dalipagic and the company were invited to NBA at that time. Few of them could chose the team they will play for. Only because of their love for the national team, they refused playing for NBA teams, because that would mean no more playing for national team. I think that this explains it.

- There is no excuse for his decision !!! He is a great player and talent, but both Gasol and Nowitzki were also in his situation and they did not refuse the team so he shouldn't have done this. 

- I am tired of these p***s, national team was the most important, before everything, and now Americans are dictating if you are playing or not! Say that you are playing and that's it, if they don't want you return to Europe and be a proud Serb. Jokic, all the best for you, but because of this i would never call you to the national team again.

- Just don't mention after this that you were afraid of NATO bombs, that you had rough childhood... Now when you have to play for your country which was destroyed from all those Americans, you are listening to them and you forget about your country. All the best to Teodosic, Bogdanovic and the rest... I will no longer watch Nikola, and let alone Denver...

- Nowitzki is a God because of that, when they conditioned him, trade or Germany, he said Germany without thinking and they haven't traded him, and he won the ring with Dalas. I hope to God that Jokic is as great as Nowitzki but???

- As much as i tried to find an excuse, its not working out... Congratulations to your quality and the game, on everything... but man! How will you look in the eye those who answered the call. You are too young to give yourself the luxury not to answer... If Teo, Bogdanovic and the rest can do it, and Sale Djordjevic before them, Divac and the crew, what is with you? You are a great player, but you are still far away from them!!!

- What kid of contract? Bogdan is fighting for contract as well! He is now in position to chose the team and not to be blackmailed! There is no excuse for this!

- How many of us got up in the night to cheer for you, and this is how you pay us back! They took away our country, and now they are taking away our people. Don't allow that to happen Serb!
