Miroslav Sacek, born in Gradiska, has been living and working near Vienna for the past three decades. Miroslav interested a lot of people with his craftsmanship and ideas, even in several states.

In his free time while he was in front of his home, drinking coffee, Miroslav came up with the idea to make something useful from old parts for junkyard.

The decision was made to make a moving mini-sawmill.

- First i noticed two summer tires from "Audi". I immediately developed an idea. I took off an engine from an old scooter, i made a rail construction and from boards made a pulley.

- I admit that I have been working on the pulley for some time, until I achieved the balance between speed and desired strength. The only thing I had to buy was steel serrated tape for cutting and belts - says Miroslav for agroklub.ba.

He assembled the machine after working hours and during weekend. Then he got a truck and constructed a small crane for roundwood and materials, but also for putting down the entire construction.

- I made a version with accumulator to power the crane, but also manually using a winch. Saw is easy for work it is very precise and it can be operated by one man. Throttle is increased on the handle i also took from the scooter, and you can see a bunch of scraps taken and made into something useful".

He gathered likes for the invention at border crossings

Sacek said that he crossed Austrian, Slovenian, Croatian and Bosnian border without any problem. No one understood what was he driving, because everything was loaded and dismantled on the truck and it reminds of a scaffolding.

- I intentionally came to my birth village Bok Jankovac to try the sawmill. I left two logs of poplar tree with my friend zoran Racic two years ago. I will cut them and when i return to Austria i will craft some cabinetwork - said Miroslav Sacek with a smile, known as Braca among friends.

Miroslav said that he had offers to sell the sawmill, but the money doesn't interest him, the machine he made doesn't have a price. Other members of the family Sacek are also great craftsmen, Miroslav's brothers Anton, Branko, Josip and Stefan.

They inherited the sense for handiwork from their father Ivan, who was the best electrician, machinist and a welder in his town, and wider.
