BEAUTIFUL WATERMILLS OF SERBIA: These 10 withstand the ravages of time, like a fairy tale! (PHOTO)
7.000 watermills were working in Serbia 200 years ago. In today's time, they are mostly abandoned because of the unresolved property issues and the lack of interest of the owner to restore them. Many would disagree that they are old and beaten by time, because old people would say that there is no better flour than the one under the stone of a watermill. Rarely any villages today can boast with well preserved objects that nurtured generations.
