Dudas, with ovations, reached first place in first 60m race! (VIDEO)

Mihail Dudas had a great start in heptathlon on the European Indoor Championship in Kombank Arena, since he was first in his group after the 60 meter race.

Dudas crossed the finish line after 7.03 seconds, and he was followed by Fredrik Samuelsson and Ashley Bryant with 7.06, which is their best personal times. Dudas got 872 points, and the followers 861.

- I expected to be even faster, but i have six more disciplines so i have time to prove myself. The hall looks really imposing and impressive - said Dudas after the race.

However, the competition was great in the second race, Jorge Ureña and Dominik Distelberger crossed the finish line with a time of 6.94, followed by Kevin Mayer with 6.95, while the fourth and fifth were Rosenberg and Cairoli, who thankfully had worse time than Dudasa who was 7:04.
