Here's what they did in Croatia when the meat expired
Croatian Ministry of Agriculture conducted a control of 10 distribution centers of retail chains over the last week.

Their inspectors found meat which was expired and again put on sale.
- Irregularities were found in all centers, but when we get the lab results we will inform the public what exactly and in what retail chains we found - said for Index.hr spokesman of Ministry of Agriculture Leticija Hrenekovic.
She explained that the Agriculture Minister Tomislav Tolusic, since his arrival at the head of the ministry ordered that all things of this type should be reported in advance.
Croatian minister said that, origins can't be determined for par of the meat.
- The found expired meat, which was repacked, frozen and put into sail with the expiry date of two more years - said the minister Tolusic for Index.hr.
Minister didn't want to precise which retail it is about because there are still no official findings.
- The worse we found was repacked meat which was expired or close to expiry. It is food which is seriously hazardous - said the minister.
- We agreed upon entering the EU that we do not control the products coming from the EU, but we can to that on the spot - concludes Tolusic.
