THE MOST INCREDIBLE STEALING IN SERBIA: Thieves stole the ROOF on National Theater, everybody thought it was STORM'S FAULT!

Unknown thieves stole 200 square meters of sheet metal of the roof from the National Theater in Uzice. When the thieves got the courage to climb on the roof in the middle of the town is still unknown, the theft was noticed just last night.

Taking in consideration that the theater is surrounded by several high story building, and that no one of the tenants noticed anything strange on the roof of this cultural facility, it is suspected that the thieves used one of the nights when it was raining, reports Alo.

In the building next to the theater are the rooms of Socialistic party of Serbia.

- One of the officials of party noticed that our roof is missing a part and reported that it was taken away by storm most probably. We imediatelly suspected if it was due to weather, because if the storm ripped it, the metal would fall around the building 0 said Nemanja Rankovic, cultural director of the theater in Uzice.

It was determined this morning for sure that the storm was innocent and that the disappearance of the roof is actually the work of thieves. It is presumed that they climbed over Chiller - cooling system of the scene that is on the side of the theater towards the National library.

- Police discovered that the sheet metal was taken off, and there are sighs of violent entry on some places. The roof is already leaking and the water is threatening the electrical installations. If there is no new roof soon, the first rain could damage the scene and the area for the public.
