One of the parents that took his child to the kindergarten "Plavi Cuperak" in the Bosko Buha street in Nis, found a killed Whip snake.

DEADLY DISEASE ARRIVES TO SERBIA: Attention, IT IS SPREAD BY DOGS!

Even though its about non venomous snake, parents are concerned for the safety of their children, because in that arena, the grass is uncut and there is a lot of overgrowth.

As they said in the association "Zoo Planet" who's volunteers are working on snake care, there is nothing unusual about their appearance in this time of the year.

- They appear because of the rodents. They will go out more intensively in the next 15 days because its the mating season and we should not panic. It is important to know how people should react in the situations when they encounter snakes - said Dusan Stojanovic from the "Zoo Planet".

Volunteers of this organization had 3 calls yesterday and every time it was about non venomous snakes. Dusan explained that one should not make sudden movements in front of the snakes and best is to let them go away, and volunteers will visit schools and explain to pupils how they should treat rodents.

- It is important that, when someone gets bitten by snake, not to tie up anything as it was recommended before. Also there is no blood sucking out of the wound. It is important for the person to move as less as possible, and if its about a leg or an arm, if it is possible, it should be immobilized and person taken to the doctor - recommended Dr Zarka Rankovic.
