- Thank God that I was not on the way to the airport because I had a meeting at 10. I heard that the check-in hall was completely destroyed. The president of the company was at the airport but luckily, he is all right - said Mirjana Cizmarov, vice-president of "Eurocontrol".

Due to the terrorist attack she is not leaving the hotel where she stayed.

- I am waiting for the information from our embassy in Brussels how to evacuate. There are many police officers on the streets and one can hear ambulance sirens all the time. Security in the hotel was strengthened. My hotel is in the city center, far way from the airport, so I did not hear the explosions - stated Mirjana.

Still, it was pure luck that she avoided the attack.

- The attack happened at 9 and I had a meeting at 10. I was getting ready to go out when I heard about the explosion. The president of "Eurocontrol", Hajdar Helcinj was at the airport but luckily he was not injured. The meeting was postponed and I do not know if we will have it at all - explained Mirjana.

Railway traffic in Brussels was completely stopped.

- Metro lines are not working, and several flights were transferred to the airport at Antwerp, but I doubt that it could replace all the flights. I was supposed to go back to Belgrade tonight, but now, I am not sure - said Mirjana.
