Poor organization of the hospital administration only reinforce her torture, even though she was told that her child would not be born alive.

TRAGEDY: One year old baby that was beaten by his father dies in Belgrade!

The Ethics Commission in Kragujevac is the only body that can approve the termination of advanced pregnancy. However, the current Ethics Commission does not work because it lacks two members who are on sick leave and their replacements are on vacation.

- Every minute is like a year. I'm in pain, I can not sleep. The child in my stomach moves, but I know it will not live to be born alive. I am powerless and forced to wait. I wrote to the hospital, the minister, but I have not received any response - says Ana for "Blic".

Ana's pregnancy was normal, she regularly went to check-ups and did amniocentesis and the results were good.

However, when she entered the seventh month of pregnancy, on August 3, the gynecologist determined that there was something wrong.

- Then I was told that pregnancy can not be maintained. The diagnosis was that the baby could not survive the stomach and that the baby was full of water. And since then, I've been waiting for the Ethics Commission. By Thursday last week I waited in the hospital for this commission. Then I found out that doctors were on sick leave and vacation. I am shocked because the child moves in my stomach, but has been sentenced to death in advance. Now I'm waiting for the commission in Belgrade, which is scheduled for Wednesday - says Ana A.

She points out that she understands that someone is on vacation, but wonders if someone will understand what she is going through.

- It's a matter of days when everything will get too complicated. I cried all my tears, and now I fear for my life. When is someone going to operate on me? Am I going to get back to normal and have children again? - asks worried Ana A.

Dr Aleksandra Dimitrijevic, the deputy director of GAK Kragujevac, who performed Ana's amniocentesis in the 17th week of pregnancy, says that at that time, did not see any changes or anomalies.

- At the next review, in the 27th week, it was found that the child has water in the stomach and lungs. It is rare, but it is clear that such a baby if it is born, has no chance of surviving. Therefore, in medical practice, abortion is mandatory - says Dr. Dimitrijevic.
