Vucic: Serious crimes occured in Srebrenica, let's respect other people's suffering

Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said today that on June 23rd, when continuing the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels, it is an important day for Serbia, and that the agreement depends on the solutions to be proposed, but that he believes we will achieve good results.

Vucic said that the Serbian side in Brussels will fight for national interests, the whole of Serbia and Kosovo-Metohija Serbs.

He said that talks are in progress in Brussels and that the Serbian side is struggling to reach a compromise.

The Serbian Prime Minister also said that a heinous crime occurred in Srebrenica, and that the Serbian people should respect other people's pain and suffering and show how humane they truly are. He said that its been enough of bloody wars, and that the Serbs and Bosnians should build peace and work on reconciliation.

Vucic expects an increase in salaries and pensions, given that we have saved 77 billion dinars in the first six months, and that talks with the IMF regarding the matter are to be resumed in August.

- Our savings in the six-month level in comparison to what the plan was is 77 billion dinars or 630 million euros. Our increase would be equivalent to 120 or 130 million euros for this fiscal space, if we are not mistaken, with ease we have many fiscal revenue and expect revenue from excise duties for electricity. So we have a very wide fiscal space - said Vucic.

He said that the work of fiscal advice should always be strict and says they are dissatisfied.

- So far, we have the maximum difference in gross domestic VAT. Our gross domestic VAT compared to June 2014 increased by 2.5 billion  - said the prime minister.
