This will contribute to a deeper understanding of the two countries' markets, increase the volume of bilateral trade in agricultural and food products, and promote cooperation in environmental protection.

Bogosavljevic Boskovic and Al Thani also agreed that the cooperation in tourism needs to be enhanced, pointing specifically to the vast potential of rural and spa tourism in Serbia.

Both countries have shown interest in signing agreements on cooperation in other areas as well, the officials said.
