Harry Potter sensation in Belgrade: Thousands of young people in the first real "Pottermania" in Serbia! (PHOTO) (VIDEO)

Yesterday, the first ever Pottermania was held in the Youth Center in Belgrade (Dom Omladine). More than 2,000 young people had the opportunity  to demonstrate their knowledge of the most popular science-fiction movie - Harry Potter.

Next weekend will be spectacular in Belgrade, here's what you mustn't miss!

This is the first  ever Pottermania in Belgrade organized by the Association Sakurabana. The Vice President of the Association, Jelena Jokanovic said for Telegraf that she is very satisfied with the response of young people.

- I am very pleased with the response. More than 6,000 young people applied, but we decided to limit the number to 2,000 due to safety reasonsCompetitors had the opportunity to collect as many points through various quizzes, tests, discussions and thus win the competition.

The winning team was the Slinters, who outdid themselves during the day's competition. The group consisted of young high school students who were honored with the win and the ovations they received from fellow competitors. When we asked them what the reward was for the effort, these young people briefly said:

- Well, nothing, no reward. "Pride" is an award!

All by herself, she managed to save up enough money playing violin in Knez Mihailova Street: Amazing Jovana won 1st place in Italy (VIDEO)

At the start, competitors were sorted by houses, that is, teams that are fighting for first place. During the day, there were various public discussions, panels, quizzes and creative workshops organized in which the young people were able to demonstrate their knowledge.

The most interesting was the cosplay contest, which began at 8 pm. Participants in this part of the competition showed creativity in costuming and the most creative received the highest number of points.

Also, in the hall of the Dom Omladine, various souvenirs, toys, books and T-shirts with characters from "Harry Potter" were being sold. Thus, all visitors were able to buy Harry Potter toys for 150 dinars. Cushions, mugs and posters were from 250 to 500 dinars, while T-shirts with the Harry Potter characters retailed at 1,000 dinars and 800 for children.
