Next weekend will be spectacular in Belgrade, here's what you mustn't miss!

Kalamegdan will open its gates between May 22-24 to host the first major festival event, of destination and tasting, "The Belgrade Manifesto". The most famous holiday of Serbian festivals is organized by the "Belgrade Manifesto" and "Belgrade Fortress", during these three days it will be situated in the Upper and Lower Town of the Belgrade Fortress.

Over 15 festival events will present the best of Serbian cuisine, tourism, film, arts, music, dance, nature and creative ideas.

Kalemegdan will be host to more than 50 cities and municipalities in Serbia. During the three-day festival, air ballons will span the Belgrade sky, with 15 teams from all over Europe, and in the evening for the first time in the Belgrade sky we will witness the piro-musical fireworks that will be launched by the world vice-champion!

Food for visitors will be prepared by cook-champions who have won first prizes during competitions for their culinary skills. Traditional Serbian "Iyad" of barbecue, Gulash, beans, cabbage, lamb in addition to traditional local specialties will be on the menu of the Kalemegdan dinner table.

The hosting music programs are our most famous festivals: "Beer Fest", "Zajecar Guitar", "Nishville" "Guca Trumpet Festival", "LoveBfest" and many others, and visitors should expect amazing concerts every night. Film programs are organized by the famous "Fest", "Palic film festival" "Festival of Documentary and Short Film "," Cinema City "," Kids Fest " in addition to meeting with the actors, visitors will be able to see the award winning film achievements  in a theater in the open air in the form of "Silent movies."

Over 18 festivals and dance schools of the "Plesnoj livadi" will move visitors to the rhythms and sounds of salsa, samba, flamenco, tango. A special zone intended for play, creative workshops and numerous animations are set up for the little oens. For all the lovers of equestrian sports, a fantastic program that will be moved from the Hippodrome to the lower city Kalemegdan and will make their trip a delight. A small school of equestrian sport will provide educational information about the breeding and training of horses, and a special attraction will be old carriages (horse and buggy).
