HORROR STORY FROM SMEDEREVSKA PALANKA: Rape and murder of a blind old woman, orgies next to her dead body, then drink in the tavern!

The police at Smederevska Palanka arrested Dragisa Ristic (41) and Svetlana Stankovic (37) under suspicion that they raped, murdered and burned blind Zorka S. (90) in her house.

This brutal crime occurred at the 6th of May 2010, and they had an accomplice, Svetlana's brother in law Ratko Stankovic (56) from Glibovac, who took the blame upon himself and suffered a 17-year prison sentence.

Dragisa and Svetlana spent the last five years as if nothing happened. The story started to unfold when Svetlana's children, who were placed under foster care in the meantime, told their foster parents how one night ''Mom, uncle and some man washed the blood off from their clothes''. Fosters reported this information to the police, an investigation followed and eventually found out what happened.

Ratko, Dragisa and Svetlana broke into her house that night, and there is a possibility that Svetlana's ex husband, who died two years later, was with them.

Ratko and Dragisa raped the old woman, then butchered her with a knife and a hatchet, while Svetlana helped. Finally, they covered the old woman with a blanket and set the house on fire. They stole the ancient radio from Zorka's house and fled.

The police soon arrested Ratko Stankovic , who confessed to committing the murder , but haven't mentioned any accomplices. According to certain information , he was madly in love with Svetlana , who was not married or had any children at the time , which was perhaps the reason he protected her.

He also skip mentioning Dragisa's involve in this , because he was afraid that he may expose Svetlana to the police.

According to Higher Court of Smederevo , and confirmed by the Appellation Court, Ratko was sentenced for 17 years due to his  ' especially brutal and humiliating way of raping and murdering the blind and immovable old woman'' , which closed this case.

In the meantime , Svetlana's husband died and The Welfare Center took  her  three children from her due to neglection. They were the ones to tell what happened that night in May of 2010.

- The Children said to their foster parents how one night their mother came back home with their uncle and one man and how they were all bloody and how they washed themselves in the bathroom. They mentioned some other details as well and the fosters contacted the authorities immediately - said the source close to an investigation in his reference to the ''Informer''.

The people of Glibovac were sure that Ratko could not have committed this murder by himself.

- Everyone knew that he had an affair with his daughter-in-law, Ceca. Dragisa Ristic is slightly retarded and he never left the site of Ratko , Ceca and her husband. They drank and dragged around the village. Even Svetlana's husband did not care that she was 'fooling around' with everyone, even with his own brother - said one person from Glibovica.

The confession of Dragisa Ristic and Svetlana shocked even the police operatives - reports 'Alo'.

- First we raped her, then beat her up, then stabbed her with the knife. We continued our orgies next to her dead body and then sliced her with our hatchet, burned her house down to ashes and headed straight for the tavern for a drink - Ristic told the police after the arrest.

In custody, Svetlana told what happened in the unfortunate woman's shack.

- Immediately upon breaking in, Stankovic was the first to rape the old woman, then Dragisa, all this while she was watching. Then she stabbed the woman in the chest and the belly and then Ratko and Dragisa hit her with hatchets on her genitals head and chest - said the source close to the police in his refering to 'Alo'.

After the gory party, intoxicated by alcohol, they had mutual intercourse.
